Ushers

Ushers help guests and members feel “at home” before, during,
and after worship services. Anyone who is friendly and willing
to help others can participate in this important ministry. Our
goal is to provide worshippers at Faith Community with a first
impression of how God’s love works in action.

Ushers’ responsibilities include passing out bulletins,
welcoming people, answering any questions, maintaining
current knowledge of safety procedures, directing people
during communion, and collecting materials associated with the
usher ministry that may have been left behind.

Ushers are scheduled by the Worship Service Coordinators, and
are in the Contemporary Living Center (CLC) or the Sanctuary
twenty-five minutes before each Sunday worship and for about
fifteen minutes after.
