C.L.I.M.B. (Christ Like In My Behavior) Small Group Leader
Description: Lead small disciple groups of Junior and Senior High
School youth that meet weekly for fellowship. Groups are age
and gender specific and meet at a time and place convenient to
all members. Leaders are asked to commit to leading from
September through May.
Sunday School Leader
Description: Lead Junior and Senior High classes on Sunday mornings.
Leaders are asked to commit to leading class from September through
May with summers off.
Mission Trip Team
Description: Assisting and giving direction in choosing the missions
and service projects the youth participate in. More than just our
annual summer mission trip, this group is responsible for finding,
researching and implementing mission opportunities for the youth
to support or participate in throughout the year. This team meets
once a month with the youth leadership team for calendaring and
planning of events.
Ministry Mentors
Ministry Mentors meet with youth who are serving as leaders in FCUMC
Youth. Usually, a ministry mentors two (2) students at a time for a
whole year. Those interested must have a passion for: teaching,
modeling a Christ-like example, and meeting with students on a regular
basis.
Youth Group Team
Description: This team provides support to the Youth Director
in leading Sunday night youth group. Responsibilities include
leading games, large group activities, and small group
discussions as well as planning topics and themes for the year.
