Confirmation is a time for students to sincerely examine their faith, to learn
what it means to be a member of the Church (both the Body of Christ and
the United Methodist Church), and to confirm or reaffirm their faith publicly.
Who: All 9th – 12th graders with a desire to grow in their faith.
Faith/Water’s Edge membership is not a requirement to attend the class.
When: Sundays 4:00-6:00 pm and will include dinner before Youth Group.
Some weeks, a Saturday activity may be planned instead of meeting on
Sunday afternoon (for example: mission opportunities or retreats).
Where: Usually at FCUMC in the Youth Room, although some weeks we
will be off-site. Detailed information will be available in advance of those
dates.
