The mission of our children’s ministries is to partner with our families and teach our children to know and show the love of Jesus Christ. Sunday morning is a key time for this to happen in specific age-level classes where relationships can be developed in a safe, fun, creative environment.

Move-Up Sunday

On Sunday, June 5 children in pre-K – 2^nd grades will move to
their new fall 2011 grade level class. Classes for Grades 3-6
will break for the summer and these children can enjoy
attending worship with their families. Nursery and toddler care
will continue through the summer at 9:30 and 11:00 am.

Programming for the Ride will resume on September 11.   

Nursery/Toddler

Our infants and toddlers are the littlest of God’s children. We want to provide them with a nurturing, safe environment and a lot of love. Even at this age, these children learn about Jesus through the love and care offered by our Sunday morning volunteers. Parents are encouraged to take a pager so they can be reached if their child is in any kind of distress in their absence. The pager will vibrate and light up when it is activated. Please return to your child’s classroom as soon as possible if it goes off.

Preschool/Kindergarten

The Ride is a classroom opportunity for our preschoolers and kindergarteners where they will experience fun gathering and sharing time, Old Testament Bible lesson (first and second quarter), New Testament Bile lesson (third quarter), music, craft and prayer time. They will remain in their classroom environment with a wonderful teacher and parent helpers.

1^st – 4^th GRADES

The Ride is an interactive worship experience for your child that integrates worship, prayer, offering, Scripture and the Bible lesson in a large group environment. Then for application of the Bible lesson, your child will be part of a small group environment with peers of their own grade and age to discuss, process, learn and share                               experiences and understandings with a small group facilitator.

 

5^th – 6^th GRADES

Our 5^th & 6^th graders use the Grapple Pre-teen
curriculum in their own stand-alone study.
They will gather for fellowship time to discuss
their week, share a snack and then move to
their own large group. It is an interactive
worship experience forthese tweens that will
integrate elements of worship,prayer, offering,
Scripture and the Bible lesson in this large
group environment. They then break into age
level or gender groups for application of the
Bible lesson in a smaller environment. We
hope this opportunity allows these students
to go deeper in a comfortable small group
setting.
