Faith Kidz Worship (Pre-K – 4th)
Children learn to know and show the love of Jesus in our Sunday morning worship program. Faith Kidz Worship is an interactive experience for your child that integrates worship, music, prayer, offering, Scripture and a Bible lesson in a large group environment.
Our vision for Faith Kidz Worship is that our children gain a deeper understanding of what it means to worship God. Why do we give monetary or servant offerings to God? Why is it important to pray to God daily and grow in knowledge through reading His word? Why do we praise him through song and actively look for him in our daily lives? We want our children to become life long worshipers! As they grow in years, we want them to also grow in their relationship with Jesus and understand that He has a plan for their lives.
In our large group worship, we use lively contemporary music, active storytelling and hands on opportunities to keep the children engaged as they learn. Our God Sightings board, where weekly the children and adults can post where they have seen God working, as well as our open offering bowl, where children can place their own gift to God, are ways that we intentionally allow them to model what we do as worshipers of God. All songs, scripture and prayers are shown on our big screen, so guests can feel right at home their first time with us.
After the large group worship is finished, children break out into small groups. The small groups allow time for your child to interact with peers of their own grade and age to discuss, process, learn and share experiences and understandings with a small group facilitator.
Faith Kidz Worship is offered at both 9:30 and 11:00 am. During the summer we offer children’s programming for 2nd grade and younger. Children 3rd grade and up are encouraged to worship with their families through the summer.
