MLK_homepage iconOn Wednesday, April 4 from 6-8 pm, Faith Community will host Cincinnati-area Methodist churches for a simulcast of the West Ohio Conference’s service commemorating the 50th anniversary of the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The service, titled “I Am The Dream,” will acknowledge the life and legacy of Dr. King, as well as recognize all those who lost their lives in the Civil Rights movement. It will also be a time of encouraging and celebrating the God-Dreams we have for our own lives, as well as those for the beloved community of Christ. The evening will include a variety of vibrant music, along with prayers, stories, and a message from Bishop Palmer.
The evening at Faith Community will begin at 6 pm with gathering time and light refreshments, followed by the simulcast service from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. We hope you can join us and look forward to honoring Dr. King together.
