What To Expect On Sunday Mornings
Come and feel the difference it makes when you meet God in worship!
Checking out your church options? Haven’t been in a long time? Or a veteran church-goer?
No matter where you’re coming from, you’ll find you’ve got something in common with the people here. We are a diverse group in all different stages of our lives and spiritual journeys. But we have several things in common – friendly smiles, warm greetings, a love of good music, a thirst for God’s word, passion for God’s people, and plenty of prayers to help us through the week.
Sunday morning worship is when we set our life worries aside and lean into the promises of God and the teachings of Jesus. Our worship experiences are designed to help you encounter and feel the presence of God. Here’s what you can expect …
We know everyone meets God in different ways. That is why we offer both Traditional and Contemporary Worship Services simultaneously at both 9:30 and 11:00 am. Or if you like learning in a small group environment, we also have several Adult Classes held on Sunday mornings starting at 8:15 am. Click the links below for more information:
We take special care to ensure they are loved, cared for, and accepted at every age in our specially designed worship environment for kids. Kids will learn to know and show the love of Jesus in our Sunday morning worship program, Faith Kidz Worship.
Nursery (birth – 2 1/2) – Toddler (2 1/2 – 3 1/2) – We offer child-care in our nursery and hands on learning for toddlers year-round at both the 9:30 and 11:00 am. Our nursery and toddler rooms are staffed with carefully screened and trained volunteers.
Preschool – 4th Grade – We offer an interactive worship experience designed to foster friendships, learning, and love of God. Faith Kidz Worship offers both a large group worship experience and smaller breakout sessions where discussion and adult guidance help apply what’s being learned about God to real-life situations. Faith Kidz Worship is offered at both 9:30 and 11:00 am.
Kids are dropped off in their classrooms. Then we all meet for worship time in the Community Room. Our curriculum is based on three truths: We can trust God; we need to make the right decisions; and we should treat others the way we want to be treated. Children will then go back to their classrooms for small group time and more in-depth discussion about the lesson they just learned.
5th & 6th Grade
Our 5th and 6th graders will use an age-specific two-year curriculum that takes them through the Old and New Testaments. This year they are studying the Old Testament. They remain in their classrooms for the entire hour. 5th-6th grade is offered at 9:30 and 11:00 am.
