leading contemporary and traditional
worship, Stephanie has a real passion
for worship and is excited to help further
the vision of Faith Community.

Ruth Frick
Traditional Worship / Music Coordinator & Organist

Education and Experience:
30+ years of church music employment,
beginning with playing organ at home church
at 11. Accepted first organist position at 14
(Lancaster, PA). Two choral anthems
published by Columbia Pictures Publications in
1982. Accepted position as Organist at Faith
Community in 1998; as Traditional
Worship/Music Director in 2003.
Received B.S. from University of Maryland in
Journalism (1971); have been employed in
the areas of publication, graphics,
promotional materials, and book editing.
Responsibilities Include:
· Plan the traditional worship services
· Coordinate traditional music groups and
schedule them in worship
· Plan and schedule special music, e.g.,
solos, etc., during summer months
· Assure high-quality and broad variety of
music at traditional services
· Recruit and encourage new members for
traditional music ministry

Mary Schambow
Chancel Choir Director
 |
Mary received her B.S. in vocal music in 1987
from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
After earning her degree, Mary taught vocal
music grades 1-12 in Wisconsin for ten years
along with directing several musicals and show
choirs. When Mary and Marc moved to West
Chester, OH, in 1997, Mary taught vocal music
at Colerain Middle School for three years until
the birth of their daughter, Anna. Before
becoming the Chancel Choir director in 2003,
Mary briefly directed the youth choir.
Responsibilities Include:
· Oversee chancel choir weekly during
rehearsals and services
· Assist other staff and directors in
participation in special events and services
· Work with the Traditional Worship/Music
Coordinator to select music
