Family Promise

Four times a year, Faith Community opens our doors to share the love of Jesus with the families of Butler County Family Promise. During our host week, Faith Community provides temporary housing for local families who are going through transitional homelessness. Unlike many other homeless shelter programs, Family Promise allows the entire family to stay together during this difficult time.

Opportunities to Serve

We will be hosting families the week of September 8 - 15. Friendly, servant-hearted people are needed to help set up bedrooms, provide warm meals for 10-15 people, spend time in fellowship with families each evening, stay overnight at the church each night, and then reset rooms at the end of the week for Sunday worship. If you are available and willing, we would love to have you join our Family Promise team!  Please click below to sign up.

Donate Food for the Families

In addition to providing dinner for the families, we also offer breakfast food for the mornings and food for them to make lunches to take to school or the day center. Check back soon for an online sign-up for donations!
