In this three-week series on the book of Jonah, we will learn about the grief that comes from rebelling against God, and the glory that comes from obeying God. Join us as we rediscover the epic grace He offers for each of our lives.

We see divine encounters throughout the pages of scripture. Jesus performed signs and miracles; many were healed. These types of encounters continued among his apostles. You see, we learn about God through the pages of scripture, yet our faith journey isn’t just about information, but rather transformation. We are called to experience divine encounters, just as the early church. Divine encounters can come in many ways: a soft gentle whisper or stark moments.

Our faith is continually being built up by both the Word and divine encounters. God is active in, around, and through you! This Sunday is Pentecost, and we recount how the fire of the Holy Spirit powerfully came upon the disciples and transformed the 3,000 who were gathered. This fire still burns today -- are you open to receive it?
