Caregivers Support Group

First Monday of the month, 2pm - 3:30pm

Caregivers Support Group

Are you a caregiver? If you help care for another adult, whether or not that person lives in your home, in a nursing home, or in their own home, you are a caregiver. You are a caregiver whether you devote as much as 24 hours per day or as little as 5 minutes a week to someone you care for.

Caregiving is stressful. Caregivers are more likely than their non-caregiving peers to be a risk for depression, heart disease, high blood pressure and other chronic illnesses. You are particularly at risk for caregiver burnout -- a state of mental and physical exhaustion brought on by the physical, emotional and financial stresses of providing ongoing care, usually over a long period of time. Caregiver burnout is the most cited reason for caregivers placing a loved one in a nursing home.

Caregiving for a loved one can leave you frustrated and angry at times. That’s normal -- but you don’t have to go through it alone. Research shows that having support is one of the best, most effective ways of reducing caregiver stress and frustration. A caregiver support group can be a lifeline, providing a place to share feelings, make new friends, get help navigating the health care system, and learn from and lean on others who are walking a similar path.

Please join us for our monthly Caregivers Support Group that meets on the 1st Monday of every month, from 2-3:30 pm in the Parlor.

For questions, please contact Barbara Wentz at 513-382-6781or  or Lorrie Lin at 513-284-9417 or

Cost: $5.00

Join us every Monday from 12 noon - 1 pm in the Christian Living Center (CLC) for Christian Yoga. This class incorporates scripture, prayer and praise into the exercise routine and helps draw the participant into a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. Gentle movement exercises will consist of standing and chair exercises; floor exercises with mat are optional. Yoga has been shown to improve overall health, decrease stress/anxiety, and reduce pain to help you get in shape and glorify God through Mind, Body and Spirit!

This will be a combined floor/chair exercise class so you can do yoga exercises on your own yoga mat or in a chair (available). Cost is $5 per class. Masks are optional for this class. For more information, please contact Ann Copeland at or 513-257-1725.

Grief Support Group

Every Tuesday, 4:30pm - 6pm

Grief Support Group

Have you lost a loved one and are struggling to find peace and hope in the midst of loss?  When grief comes into our lives, it can be difficult to navigate the emotional storm of intense feelings.  It can feel very lonely. Our Grief Support Group is a structured care group designed to help those grieving the loss of a loved one to find hope, peace, and comfort. It can help us gain strength as we walk together side by side with those sharing a similar loss.

Faith Community's Grief Support Group meets every Tuesday evening in the Prayer Room from 4:30-6 pm. The group is led by Ann Rogers, and everyone is also invited to stay for dinner afterwards at Stepping Forward. Please join us for this opportunity to find comfort, hope and healing. For more information or if you have any questions, please contact Ann Rogers at  .
