Sunday Morning Classes

Faith Community has a few classes that meet at the church on Sunday Mornings. Each of these is open to new guests and members. See if there's one that meets your needs and schedule.

Pathfinders - Our group is made up of single and married adults of all ages. Sunday morning gatherings center around short, 4-6 week DVD/discussion studies by popular Christian authors that focus on Christian growth. Each weekly topic is self-contained so attendees can drop in/out as their schedule allows.

Due to social distancing requirements with Covid, we are currently meeting every Sunday on Zoom at 10:30 am. Call Rick Detjen 513-779-9355 for details and to request your Zoom login code. All are welcome!

Are you an early bird? Are you looking for folks who love to explore scripture? Do you want to strengthen your relationship with Jesus? If you answer "Yes!" to these questions, come "work out" with us ... 8 am Sundays, room 204. For more details, contact Jerry Boozer or Brenda Hicks.

Due to Covid, our group is currently not meeting. Once we start back up again, we will be sure to let you all know. We miss you all … stay safe!

"Why" Wednesdays

Do Science and Scripture conflict? Are miracles possible? Is Christianity real? Why does God allow suffering anyway? Join Pastor Tim on Wednesday evenings beginning July 28 as we explore the “Why” of some basic Christian Faith questions.  This 6-week course will be offered on Wednesday evenings in the Community Room beginning at 7:00 pm. Please email if interested in the class, and if you would like a copy of the book Know Why You Believe by Paul Little.

Membership Class

After attending here awhile, you may want to come onboard and become a member. What on earth does that mean? Well for us, that means that you want to invest in us and you want us to invest in you! Membership at Faith Community has many benefits if you make the commitment, including being a part of a caring community of believers, being able to vote at church meetings, and truly being a part of something bigger than yourself.

For United Methodists, membership requires our active participation in a local congregation. When we become members, we profess our faith in God, our desire to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, and commit to join with our church community to keep the vows made at baptism. The vows we make include promises to faithfully participate in the life and ministries of our local congregation through our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness.

To help get us both on the same page, we offer a two-week class about three times a year. During that time, we’ll get to know more about each other so that you can know how we invest in each other. Click the link below for dates and to register for our next Membership Class.

Come find out more about Faith Community, what we believe, and how we live that out here and in our community. Come meet our pastors and ministry leaders, as well as other folks like you who are wanting to learn more.  We meet twice as a small group to enjoy a meal together and learn more about Faith Community. Childcare will be provided.
