Church Conference ~ Disaffiliation Vote
Time: 6pm – 7pm
Our District Superintendent, Reverend Jenn Lucas, has set a date of Wednesday, October 12 at 6 pm for Faith Community to vote on disaffiliation. Please note that you must be physically present at the church in order to vote (this was declared by the West Ohio Annual Conference and confirmed by our District Superintendent).
5:15 - 5:30 pm Arrival
Note: Early arrival required by ORV district to receive your ballot
6:00 pm Conference Begins
Only professing members of Faith Community UMC who are present on October 12 will be permitted to cast a vote. A two-thirds majority vote by members in attendance is necessary to disaffiliate. If you are uncertain about your membership status, please contact our church office at 513-777-9533 or .

Membership Required to Vote
Please note, only professing church members are allowed to vote at a Church Conference. Professing members are people who have officially joined the church by either completing a Membership or Confirmation class and then reciting the vows of membership during a worship service. If you would like to become a member before the vote, we have two more options for Membership classes (you only need to attend one):
• Tuesday, September 27 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm (dinner will be served)
• Sunday, October 2 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm (lunch will be served)
After completing the class, you will officially join the church on October 2 or 9. If you are interested in the upcoming classes or would like more information, please contact the church office at
